註釋Rsults of static and fatigue tests on joints in 75S-T6, 24S-T4, and 14S-T6 high-strength aluminum-alloy extruded bar are given. In addition, a monobloc specimen was tested to evaluate the sensitivity of the materials to the effects of a notch. Comparisons are made of the following types of joint designs: nonuniform-step, plain-scarf, bolted-keyed, serrated single-shear, double-shear, uniform-step, clamped-keyed, and double-scarf.
