The 450th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation subject files (1964-1978, bulk 1964-1969) contain correspondence, committee minutes and participant lists, memoranda, reports, form letters, publicity material, enws releases, and publications concerning arrangements for and celebrations during the year long Observance of the 450th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation held in 1967. The majority of the files are those of Anniversary Coordinator Dale E. Griffin. However Box 6 contains files of LCUSA Division of Public Relations staff and Box 7 is comprised of correspondence of National Lutheran Council Executive Director Paul C. Empie. Other correspondents include Anniversary General Committee chairman Malvin H. Lundeen and other General Committee members; Anniversary committee chairmen Philip A. Johson, Robert E.A. Lee.
