The Internet
註釋Developments in IT have created challenges for public library staff. Based on The Public Librarian's Guide to the Internet, this course aims to familiarize public library staff with the processes of using the Internet for their own information work and assisting other users to make more effective use of the Internet. It covers all issues affecting public library use and identifies key resources in references, literature, children's work including homework, family history, community information, business information and lifelong learning. The course assumes little or no existing knowledge, but should also be of use to more experienced staff.
