Our Little House and The Great Depression
註釋This story is an example of the biblical struggle of David vs Goliath. Our parents were David and the Great Depression was Goliath. It has some of the same elements as the famous book and movie, "The Grapes of Wrath," but is much lighter, shorter and has a happy ending. It is a tale of encouragement for the little people in today's economic climate who are faced with overwhelming financial problems. These problems were brought about by greedy leaders in powerful positions. Most common folks had nothing to do with causing these situations. However many lives have been challenged. The message of this story is that wheen it seem s the whole world is against you---NEVER GIVE UP. John C. Durkin, Author.
