註釋Agenda 21 is divided into four section comprising 40 chapters: social and economic dimensions, conservation and management of resources for development, strengthening the role of major groups, and the means of implementation. This guide gives a brief overview of the complicated issues and complex process that finally culminated in Agenda 21. Each chapter from 2 to 40 is broken down into four parts: the nature of the problem, summary of chapter, the nature of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development debate, and some Canadian initiatives.
