First of all, I'd like to say I love France. At a late state in my former British life just when I was beginning to feel prematurely jaded and finished, France helped me rediscover and reinvent myself and along the way I've carved out a new career as a teacher as well as earn a modicum of integrity absorbing and readapting the experiences of my previous theatre career in England. But of course I also love the more literal things: French food, the social culture, the weather and the vast amount of space and diverse terrain! Who doesn't? 'Dear France' is an abbreviated version of my other two books 'Le Prof - Part 1' and 'Le Prof - Part 2' and differs from them in that all details about my own private battles for survival in a foreign culture have been removed. 'Dear France' focusses solely on teaching and education.
