It further elucidates what the Pastores Dabo Vobis says about the ongoing formation of diocesan priest, and the possible ways to which it can be applied in the contemporary milieu. The primary aim of the ongoing formation is to promote a general and integral process of constant growth in order to deepen the various aspects of formation : human spiritual, intellectual and pastoral as well as to ensure their harmonious integration in the context of pastoral charity so that diocesan priests can live their consecration to God in all its wholeness contributing further growth and fullness of life.
