Collection of Ruth Crawford Mitchell
註釋These papers comprise the work of Ruth Crawford Mitchell and consist primarily of documents related to the Nativity Study carried out at the University of Pittsburgh between 1926 and 1930. The Nativity Study collected information on foreign-born and first generation American students applying to the university in an attempt to provide better services for them. The collection also contains information on a study of second generation foreign students, a Civil Affairs Training Program, immigration, countries and ethnic groups, lecture notes for Mrs. Mitchell's classes, and her personal papers.
