Aquatic Impact Studies of a Spruce Budworm Choristoneura Fumiferana Clemens, Control Program in the Lower St. Lawrence Region of Quebec in 1978
註釋Experimental and operational applications of fenitrothion at 0.210 kg AI/ha (3 oz/acre) and aminocarb (Matacil) at 0.053 kg AI/ha (3/4 oz/acre) were monitored in Kamouraska County, Québec to assess the impact of these treatments upon selected components of the aquatic environment. Applications at the dosage rates studied had little or no adverse effects on aquatic invertebrates or fish. Small increases in the drift of mayfly nymphs after a fenitrothion application, and of blackfly larvae after an aminocarb application, and of blackfly larvae after an aminocarb application, were documented. A slight depression in populations of heptagenid and baetid mayfly nymphs was noted after an application of aminocarb.
