註釋
Woodland caribou are a threatened species in Alberta. The Caribou Range Recovery project aims to speed the recovery of human disturbances to the habitat of this species so that negative effects of humans on woodland caribou & other sensitive wildlife are lessened & eventually eliminated. Such disturbances include roads, pipelines, seismic lines, and other human developments. This report begins with background on the project, then describes the methods used in planning, inventorying, restoration, and research & monitoring. It also provides a summary of restoration work completed and makes recommendations for the continuation of the project.
