The collection comprises a minute book of the North Melbourne branch of the ALP 1920-1925, three copies of the branch motto and two photographs. The earliest photograph is ca.1908 and shows a float drawn by two horses. There is a sign on the float for "Artificial Fertilisers". Daniel Carter may be in the surrounding group. The second photograph is of Daniel Carter and dated ca. 1922. It includes a press cutting of a report of a pilgrimage to his grave n.d. but 1926.
