註釋William Hall came from Bermuda to Virginia in 1652 and married Mary Tucker, daughter of George and Frances Tucker. Their son Robert Hall was born ca 1660 and married Elizabeth Harrison, daughter of Thomas and Ellinor Blaymore Harrison. Robert Hall may have had a first marriage to Susannah Pleasants. They settled "Bermuda Hundred" on the James River. Their son John Hall married Anne Bolling, daughter of Robert Bolling. Descendants live in Virginia, and some followed the western trails into Kentucky, Illinois and Texas.
