Edward S. Curtis Papers
註釋Correspondence of photographer Edward S. Curtis with Pierpont Morgan and his librarian, Belle Greene, documenting Morgan's financing of Curtis's field work (including a copy of a letter from Theodore Roosevelt), the production of his multi-volume photographic work, The North American Indian, and the sale of Curtis books and photographs by the Morgan family in 1935. The North American Indian was formed as a corporation on August 17, 1920 and was dissolved on August 17, 1930. On May 15, 1930, all assets were assigned to the Charles E. Lauriat company, Boston.
