This book comments on the articles of the conventions to avoid double taxation concluded by Mozambique. Each article is the subject of a three-way analysis, beginning with observations of a more general and abstract nature, in line with the 2014 Comments to the OECD Model Convention and the 2011 Comments to the UN Model Convention, which are closely followed. After the theoretical framework of the subject, the comments proceed with the analysis of the concrete norm as negotiated by Mozambique with the other Contracting States (South Africa, Botswana, United Arab Emirates, India, Italy, Macao, Mauritius, Portugal and Vietnam). Each comment ends with a brief description of the applicable domestic law in Mozambique, Macao and Portugal.
