7216 Thomas Herbert Brown Illuminated Address
註釋The address is bound in red calf with 9 carat gold thistles. It is hand-painted, most likely in gouache and gold leaf on pressed cardboard and contains two photographs - one of the firm's principal warehouses and another of the Short Street wharf. The calligraphy is also done by hand in ink. The address was produced by Watson, Ferguson & Company, bookbinders. Accompanying material includes an article from The Telegraph for 15 February 1908 which describes the illuminated address and the dinner at which it was presented to T.H. Brown, and also two copies of the programme.
