註釋This book is written by one class of nine and ten year old Northern Maori New Zealand Children. When I asked the children who they were writing for they all said mum or dad, nan or pop, aunties, uncles, baby sisters, cousins all the important people. They write about their lives with an honest innocence. They live surrounded by 55 beaches within half an hour's drive. There are lessons between the lines of their stories. It is my privilege to be their teacher who learns from them every day.
