The objective of this thesis is to further our knowledge of evapotranspiration and drainage by making measurements of these water fluxes and testing simplified models which will enable their calculation. It is also important to hydrology since evapotranspiration and drainage are the components of the hydrologic balance which are the most difficult to either measure or calculate.
