Biogas Recovery from Wastewaters by Various Anaerobic Process Configurations
註釋This paper looks into energy recovery from wastewaters through the production of biogas by anaerobic digestion processes. A number of process configurations shall be discussed. This would include the conventional mesophilic one-stage, theomophilic one-stage, two-phase, anaerobic filter abd sludge-blanket processes. Reference shall be made to a number of industrial wastewaters but special emphasis shall be placed on palm oil mill and pig farm effluents. This would facilitate a coarse comparison of the different process configurations in terms of energy yields. For instance the two-phase process was found to produce the highest energy yields from POME at 20500 J g-1 COD utilized.
