Give students the gift of exploring classic literature in the popular genres of Adventure and Mystery. The teacher-written and student-approved study units provide activities, discussion questions, and assessment tests for the classic literature from both genres. Students will explore literacy techniques, build vocabulary, formulate and express creative responses, learn about the author's life and respond to selected readings with their own journal entries.Mystery features Ellen Raskin's Newbury Medal winning novel The Westing Game as well as four short stores (The Monkey's Paw, The Phantom Coach, The Signalman, The Cask of Amontillado).
