註釋The second edition of this foundation text, designed for the teaching of Introduction to Law courses, contains a more detailed account of the cardinal features and institutions of the Irish legal system. New features include detailed discussion of the legal profession, court procedure (including sample pleadings) and the impact of the European Community in Ireland. The authors have also added much new material on the doctrine of precedent and the changing approaches in the interpretation of legislation.
