The introduction (pp. xxi-xlvii) presents an overview of critical and theoretical issues which arise in Holocaust literature. Eight appendices (pp. 1383-1444) include information on ghettos, camps, historic figures and events, literary themes and genres of the works discussed, the authors' birthplaces and language of composition.
