Jetzt ist er bös, der Tennenbaum
註釋The catalogue of an exhibition reflecting attitudes of Austrians toward Jews after World War II. Includes Nazi and Jewish artifacts, and facsimiles of documents and letters from the war period and after. The introduction (pp. 9-11) focuses on the lack of comprehension, jealousy, and deep uneasiness demonstrated by Austrians when facing returning Jews, survivors of the Holocaust. Emphasizes the interactive, dialogical character of the exhibition, the intention of which is not so much to inform but to call for a coping with the past.
