George Jones Letters, 1864 September 12-1865 December 27
註釋The first letter (1864) is addressed to Messrs. Sargent and Jay, attorneys for the defendant in the case Joannes vs. Day et al. As the plaintiff in the case, Jones asks the attorneys to send him the arguments to be used in the defendant's appeal. In the second letter, to Stephen Massett, Jones asks Massett to leave his name at the ticket office for him and "an artistic friend," and he offers to leave his name at the same place for Massett in return.
