Quaternary Geology and Glacial History of Bylot Island, Northwest Territories
註釋Bylot Island lies in the eastern Canadian Arctic beside the entrance to the Northwest Passage at the northern head of Baffin Bay. The area represents not only a key part of the ecologically rich Lancaster Sound Region, proposed as a national park, but also of a future Arctic transportation corridor. This study describes the glacial history of Bylot Island adjacent Baffin Island, the bedrock geology and physiography, surficial deposits and landforms, and the Quaternary history.
