Which Road Should I Take
註釋Which Road Should I Take?: Learning to Live with AIDS, by Apostle A.C. Jones-Harris (also known as Aleris Hammett), pictures an adolescent subjected to child abuse, child molestation, and other significant emotional distresses-an adolescent's struggle to live a normal life in spite of the negative environmental handicaps placed upon him as a child. Most adolescents who come from abusive homes usually become troubled teenagers, substance abusers, suffer significant psychoactive disorders, and become offenders within the judicial system. I was diagnosed with HIV in 1982 and AIDS in 1993. I faced many negative crossroads following my AIDS diagnosis: friendships dissolved, significant poor health, two suicide attempts, and grieved the deaths of 37 friends who died with AIDS. In spite of all the negative avenues, I learned that there is "peace" in the midst of a storm while living with AIDS.
