Studies in Rashi: Shemot
註釋Complete essays on Chumash Shemot in a bi-lingual Hebrew/English formatm from a segment of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's weekly Shabbat public gatherings, beginning in 1964, to the study of Rashis classic biblical commentary. An innovative method for both the study and analysis of the Bibles pre-eminent commentator emerged. The talks went on for over 25 years. This book's goal is to open this unique dimension of the Rebbes scholarship to the ever-growing numbers of English speaking students aspiring to serious textual study. The volume is prefaced by a list of 17 "General Principles of Rashi" . This is the second in a series which will present one essay for each respective Torah portion. Fully annotated in Hebrew and English, the book has a detailed bibliography and comprehensive index.
