The Blue Hotel
註釋Stephen Crane won international acclaim after the publication of "The Red Badge of Courage" in 1895, and was considered an important figure in American literature. After his death in 1900, his reputation went into decline, and his many other works were largely forgotten. In the middle of the twentieth century, however, literary scholars began re-examining his body of work. This critical edition by the Charles E. Merrill Publishing Company collects an array of reappraisals of one of his masterful short stories, "The Blue Hotel."
