註釋Women experience discrimination in pay and job opportunities and are segregated in low-paying occupations and industries. This document examines the problem of working poverty in Canada with a special focus on women. Although there is significant understanding of the nature of poverty in Canada, including women's poverty, there is not yet a clear account of the relationship between women's poverty and women's labour market experience. This document offers information to fill this void.
