Cat in a Flamingo Fedora
註釋In Cat in a Flamingo Fedora, Midnight Louie thinks starring in cat food commercials will be a much needed crime-free lark while his flame-haired human partner, Temple Barr, plays hooky from mayhem by helping world-famous conceptual artist Domingo swathe Las Vegas sights in nine hundred thousand pink plastic flamingos. But life is never easy for this toothsome pair, and Temple and Louie are center stage when beloved comic actor (and notorious ladies' man) Darren Cooke is shot to death. Cooke had asked Temple to find out if the person stalking him was his unacknowledged daughter, and she is determined to find out the truth. As Temple goes about unearthing the women in and out of Cooke's life, she finds herself with a dangerous question: Was this really a murder, or was Cooke a tortured funnyman who finally rang down his own curtain? And who will be left alive when the deadly game of cat and mouse ends?
