The Joneses of Nunawading Shire
註釋This is the story of three families of Joneses who grew plants, bulbs, and flowers for the Melbourne market over a period of about 70 years. It starts with James Jones from Buckinghamshire coming to the Victorian Goldfields in 1852. Crown land was first released in 1854 and after the Grant act of 1865, the area of Nunawading Shire was developed. The Joneses acquired various parcels of land and eventually created Rosemont Flower Farm. The book gives history of the period, tells of the plants grown and lives of the families who grew them.
