註釋
Baird's sparrow, Ammodramus bairdii, is an uncommon resident of native grasslands in the northern Great Plains. In Canada, it breeds in restricted locations in the southern Prairie Provinces. This report presents information on the sparrow's geographic distribution, population size and trends, habitat requirements, factors limiting the sparrow population size and distribution, general biology, and the special significance of the species. Concludes with discussion of the status of the species and a proposed conservation designation, with the rationale for such a status.
