At first Pimpernel the fat cat and Yorick the poodle next door didn't agree on much, but they knew they didn't like Ludovic, the stray dog who'd chased Pimpernel up a tree and bit Yorick on his top knot. Pimpernel and Yorick also agreed that they were hungry and it just wasn't fair that the butcher hated dogs while the fishmonger didn't want cats around. But one day Ludovic saw an opportunity to steal fish and a bone, and that was just too much for the neighboring animals to tolerate.
