There is no need to get loud. That does not help.” In a scary intonation, Janis imitated Brenda’s voice saying, “Did you steal my sweater?” After she slammed her locker door. “I am not afraid of you,” remarked Brenda sharply. Janis, dropping her books, said, “Oh yeah! Then bring it on, girlfriend.”
