This report represents an inventory of urban transit research and development (R & D) activities that were completed and/or underway during the calendar year. The purpose of this inventory is to provide a brief overview of ongoing R & D in Canada. Projects have been grouped into categories of similar activity. Each project description includes the following essential information: project title; project description, including objectives and status; organizations involved in the project, either for its funding or its conduct; and key contact person for further information.
