Annotation This sourcebook is intended for all students who need a handy collection of up-to-date evidence materials to save time when studying. It will be particularly helpful to thoses especially part-time students, who do not have easy access to relevant materials in a library. Attention has been focused on the topics which need to be thoroughly covered for examinations. The book contains basic statutory provisions, including thoses in the Civil Evidence Act 1995, as well as a selection of materials which will be useful in preparing for essay questions. But the main emphasis is on reported cases. The object has been to present these in such a way as to show how the courts apply principles and rules in factual situations of varying complexity. In this way students will be able to get a firm grip on the essentials of evidence law and to apply their knowledge in a practical way in examinations.
