Duncan and their sister Alice, discusses business matters in Austin, Nev., and Sacramento, Calif.; family news; and visits to their ranch in Green Valley, Calif. Also included are letters from N.C. Fassett to C.F. Horn. The collection contains a copy of a bill in the Territory of Nevada Assembly, introduced Jan. 27, 1864 and passed on Feb. 19, authorizing D.W. Welty, W.W. Duncan, E. Wheaton, and their associates to build a toll road from Austin to the junction of the Colorado and Rio Virgin Rivers.
