Hollywood soap is a sequel to award winning "Catalina Soap". It centers on Al Fisher who is released from a Victorville prison for income tax evasion and travels as far by bus as he can. This is a boarding house in one of Hollywood's slum districts near Hollywood and Vine sts. He befriends "Sam"one of the other tenants who leads him into stardom in soap operas.
