Angela Brown is a poet activist, scholar, cultural advocate, educator and story editor. She was born in Meridian, Mississippi on January 5, 1969 to parents Thomas and Ouida Brown. She is the youngest of two siblings and a native to Nevada. She grew up in North Las Vegas and later moved to the suburbs. She attended preochrial schools and is a college graduate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is employed at CSN as a system analyst program assistant. Unbound is a collection of poems, spoken word poetry and song lyrics by poet Angela Khristin Brown
