Credit Problems and Order Nightmares
註釋"A newly appointed men's sportswear buyer for a private-label retailer has to learn the current vendor matrix in order to do her plan of what to buy for the upcoming fall season. She reviews and analyzes both the number of stock keeping units (SKU) by department, and vendor purchase percentages and dollars to determine the assortment plan to purchase for the July and August deliveries. Problems with the top vendor last year prevented the retailer from purchasing any of their merchandise, but increased what was bought from other vendors. The buyer is assured that the top vendor can supply their needs and once again be their top private-label resource. She has a tough buying decision to make that involves her profit and vendor relationships. She wants the top vendor back again, but she would have to decrease the merchandise orders from the other vendors that helped last year providing the extra merchandise the retailer needed."--Bloomsbury Publishing.
