Abstract: "In this paper, we discuss how validation can be integrated throughout the whole KBS development process from the Componential Methodology point of view. Our approch exploits the underlying ideas of the methodology and allows validation to be discussed both from a methodological and from a practical perspective. We approach validation from the knowledge-level modeling perspective and analyze the different validation activities that can be performed on the models that are built during the different development phases. Finally, we propose a practical way to realize these ideas in the Workbench."
