Investigations on the Protection of Fish Larvae at Water Intakes Using Fine-mesh Screening
註釋Environmental concern over effects of cooling water intakes on fish populations has led those segments of U.S. industry that use large quantities of water to seek development of intakes designed to favor protection of larval fish in waters adjacent to the intakes. This paper describes two studies that were conducted to investigate the feasibility of using an impinge-release intake screening system to minimize mortality of larval fish exposed to water intakes.
