Using Web Services in the Development of E-Learning Strategy

註釋Service-Oriented Architectures are becoming a popular system paradigm to integrate and reuse heterogeneous software e-learning components. This paper discusses the possibility of employing Web Services in teaching process. At the beginning, the article describes the relevance of recent open standards to learning management systems. Next, it examines a distributed, service-oriented architecture for e-learning systems based on Web Services, and describe the extensions to support software agents. Finally, the paper discusses the issues and benefits that arise from implementing e-learning web services.
