After two boxes of personal files, the papers are arranged by subject area: Great Salt Lake, Peter Skene Ogden, Historic Trails, Hole-in-the-Rock Expedition, Nauvoo Restoration Inc., several centennial celebrations, Academic Files, and a few smaller series. In addition there are two boxes of historic photographs and ten of color slides used primarily for lectures.
