This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the drivers of inflation in the pharmaceutical sector in Poland in the context of recent global events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and regulatory changes in China. Against the backdrop of recent global events, the paper focuses on the analysis of the post-pandemic pharmaceutical market in Poland. The paper examines the main drivers of inflation in the pharmaceutical sector and their impact on prices for patients. The authors attempt to analyze the main factors contributing to inflation, including changes in raw material prices and labor costs. In addition, the authors examine and describe price changes in different segments of the pharmaceutical market in Poland. The insights provided in this paper will be valuable to policymakers, industry players, and other stakeholders seeking to better understand the state of the pharmaceutical market in Poland in the aftermath of the pandemic.
