After a long Air Force career, fi rst as a medic and then as an Air Force Historian for the majority of his 20+ years of active duty, he worked for the US Postal Service in Buffalo, NY for a decade before becoming a History and Language Arts teacher in Florida. Now, he has turned his talents to his own writing. Since childhood in a small town in western New York State near Buffalo, he had always dreamed of traveling around the world and of fi nding a true love that would lead to “Happily Ever After”. The Air Force provided the means for world travel, which is prolifi cally illustrated in this book and in the next. The “love” proved to be much more diffi cult to attain and keep. He and his lovely wife Catherine currently live in Panama City, Florida and dream of returning to Colorado one day to live there again. As John Muir once said, “The Mountains Are Calling; I Must Go!”
