History of the Nourse Family
註釋Francis Nurse (b. 1618), a Puritan, immigrated to America in 1639 and settled at Plymouth, Massachusetts. He married Rebecca Towne (1621-1694) there in 1644. They had eight children, 1647-1644. Rebecca Nurse was hung as a witch in the Salem Witch trials. Record chiefly follows line of descent to the authors' husband and father, Rupert A. Nouse (1873-1946). He was born at Peoria, Illinois, the son of Morris Alonzo Nourse (1847-1919) and Sarah Catherine Prentiss Nourse (1849-1923). He married Arma Jones (1873-1970) in 1896 at Des Moines, Iowa. They had three children, 1897-1905. Rupert and Arma Nourse died at Milwaukee, Missouri. There son, Robert Nourse (b. 1905) was born at Milwaukee. He Grace Elizabeth Gore (b. 1910) in 1934 at Milwaukee. They had three children, 1937-1945.
