註釋The huge steel sculptures of the French sculptor Bernar Venet (born 1941) seem both monumental and at the same time filigree. Mathematical questions serve as the foundations of Venet's art that is conceptual in origin. Since the 1980s, it is the line with which he addresses the phenomena of time, space and movement that has occupied him. Whether as straight line, angle, segment of a circle or (indeterminate line), the hardness and heaviness of the material is transformed into an astounding softness and lightness every time.
