From a very young age, I knew that I loved Jesus, but it was my sweet kindergarten Sunday School teacher who told me about giving my heart to Him. While I have never doubted His love for me, I have struggled with pride, with shame and guilt, and with a feeling that I was on my own. Fortunately, The Holy Spirit was given to us to be a helper and guide in all things. He has never left me or forsaken me. He has become my King, my Father, and my friend.
The story you hold in your hands is my testimony of God's grace in my life and the journey I have been on as an adopted daughter of The King, written as a fairytale, but, in reality, is a true narrative.
With each truth from my life there is an accompanying verse to help further explain and guide discussions with your own children, grandchildren, or students as you read this story to them.
