The apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ did not leave behind a document that they all agreed upon and signed explaining the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the doctrine delivered to the churches. If they would have, the men coming after them would have no need to study, all they would have to do is teach what the apostles told them to teach. So they would not be called of God but they would be called of the apostles. However, without such a document and without spiritual leaders who are aware of such a document, the church has been subject to false teachers and grievous wolves that entered in speaking perverse things and separating the flock. Although the apostles didn't leave behind such a document the Spirit of God did. This document is the first six chapters of Genesis where the mysteries of God are hidden to the natural mind but can be understood by the spiritual mind that we might know if our spiritual leaders are called of God or self appointed.

Many, many, many years have passed since the death of the apostles and the thing that they feared most has come upon the church.
