He also has experience working in forensic pathology at the Los Angeles Coroner's Office. He is passionate about helping people who are struggling with mental illness. His interests are eclectic and range from writing to volunteering with Special Olympics to rock crawling in his Bronco. His wife, Kathleen, and daughters, Sydney and Kailey, share his passion for life. He strives to focus on the present and not to dwell in the past or worry about the future.
